We highly recommend staying at the Four Points by Sheraton Mexico City, Colonia Roma for its convenient location and safe surroundings. CIMMYT transportation will pick up participants directly from the hotel lobby on the morning of July 10 and 11 to transport them to the event in Texcoco. CIMMYT transportation will return participants to this same location after the event. Closes June 28, 2024.

Transportation to and from the Four Points by Sheraton to CIMMYT facilities is 15 US dollars per user per day.
Airport Recommended
It is recommended to arrive and depart from Benito Juarez International Airport in Mexico City (airport code: AICM).
We strongly advise utilizing the services provided within the airport premises rather than hailing taxis directly from the street or use ride-hailing services like Uber or Didi to reach CIMMYT or the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel. The journey to CIMMYT usually takes around 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic conditions.

If you're driving, you can take the Mexico-Puebla highway (Federal Highway 150) and then connect to the Mexico-Texcoco highway (Federal Highway 140D). Follow signs to Texcoco. CIMMYT is located near the Texcoco exit. Use a navigation app or GPS to get specific directions from your location to CIMMYT.
Parking is available within campus premises, and our security personnel will guide you to designated parking areas.
CIMMYT Transporation:
CIMMYT will exclusively provide one-way transportation from Four Points by Sheraton Colonia Roma in Mexico City to our location, with the same route available for the return journey. There will be an additional charge for this service of 15 US dollars per user per day.
