World Food Prize Foundation Announces Appointment of New Program Coordinator

The World Food Prize Foundation announced today that Angeline Neo has joined its staff as a Program Coordinator.

“Angeline’s wide array of communications experience and passion for global food security directly aligns with the needs of the World Food Prize,” said Ambassador Terry Branstad, President, World Food Prize Foundation. “We are thrilled to welcome Angeline to our team and excited to see her support the Foundation’s mission to inspire the global fight against hunger.”

As a Program Coordinator, Ms. Neo will work closely with the Senior Director of Strategic Communications and assist with the facilitation of the World Food Prize Foundation’s social media channels, press releases, newsletters, graphic design and many other communications projects. Ms. Neo will assist with upholding the reputation and brand identity of the World Food Prize Foundation through print and online mediums.

Prior to joining the World Food Prize Foundation, Ms. Neo worked as a User Experience (UX) Designer, Graphic Designer and intern for various companies, including Self-Help International, Enovation Controls and 3M.

In her undergraduate career, Ms. Neo received the Outstanding Senior Award for her active involvement and excellent performance relating to the graphic design department.  She also served as the Marketing and Communications Director for TEDx and two other student organizations on campus. 

Ms. Neo began her education studying architecture in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, then moved to the United States and enrolled in Wartburg College. She graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and Visual Communications. Following her graduation, Angeline attended Iowa State University where she studied Human/Computer Interaction, specializing in User Experience (UX) Design. Angeline graduated in 2023 with a Master’s Degree.
